Poor Lindsey has been puking her guts out since Midnight Sunday night. She can't even keep down her kix. Tonight she was asking for my pizza, then saw a McDonald's commercial and wanted that. I feel terrible saying ' no honey you can't eat until your all better' to which she says 'I am better, I not sick.' She is skinny as a rail as is, and I have to deny her food because eating 5 little kix sends her back into the bathroom. She has now puked so much that she just says, I have to throw up again and walks into the bathroom, hugs the bowl and pukes, wipes her mouth and goes back to laying down. I think this last time some bile came up. I think if that happens again I may ask the doctor tomorrow if there is more we should be doing. She has peed today, and is keeping most fluids down (and only wants water). It sucks too because she hates pedialyte, even the freezes, and she won't drink her juice or gaterade right now. Weird kid!
Lets just hope this passes sooner than later! Also, I hope I don't follow in my dear friend Andrea's foot steps and wind up sick myself next week or worse on Sunday when I have my big exam. I will deal though, as long as my baby girl starts feeling better!

Potty Training
If only I had known when potty training my son a few years ago the power of the M&M. Just a little over a week ago my daughter would randomly use her potty, but otherwise was quite content to pee and poop in her pull-up. She also refused to sit on the potty (real little toilets) at daycare. She used to months ago, but somehow became afraid of the flushing mechanism of these toilets, which are much noisier and more powerful than the one at home. I hate our toilet at home by the way. I have to flush it twice every time for pee, and my son is always backing the thing up.
Anyways, since moving to the preschool room with Miss Amanda she started getting M&Ms and sitting on the potty again. I decided to get some M&Ms at home and the very next day she was pooping on the toilet, and peeing more and more often. Today she wore underwear for the first time all day long and did not have a single accident. Also, most of the time she forgets all about the M&Ms. We battled for months with Tyler, and even after he mastered Peeing in the potty, he still pooped his pants well after his third birthday. Lindsey doesn't even turn three until August.
Needless to say I am a proud Mom today, and seriously if I could go back to when we were potty training Ty I would go for the candy... I was against it then, but I have seen the light :)
I will try adding pictures tomorrow with our other computer :)
